Nayarit Pottery Seated Male Figure with excellent provenance

West Mexico, Ixlan Del Rio, Ca. 200 BC to 300 AD. A female effigy figure, seated and with distinct facial tattoos, nose ornament, simple fillet headdress, ear adornments, her mouth open, her legs drawn up with a bowl between knees. Very choice example. Surface covered with manganese deposits attests to authenticity.
